Thumbs up

And I mean aural, as in hearing things

Firstly, I have a PPP kit on my (4 door) MY00 which makes lurvely sounds.

I then improved this by having the back windows down while driving - you can really hear it then, particularly in tunnels

Discovered a way of making it sound like a completely de-catted system... fold forward the back seats! This allows deep rumbly sounds from the exhaust and backbox into the cabin, and gives it a real hard edge, as well as being noisier A bit antisocial if other people want to be in the car, but tough

Roll on Winter mornings... every 0.5psi extra boost = more jet-fighter noises!

You could always remove all the seats for maximum effect. "a bit anti social but what the hell!"

If u stick your head out of the window like a dirty dog, u will not only hear more noise, but will also experience a more lifelike feel of how fast u r going!
Please keep a careful lookout for telegraph poles!

I could get it fully de-catted, but it would then be too noisy for really long distances, plus I do like to think that I'm a teeny bit green when necessary

And I could hang out of the window but I'd get too many flies on my teeth from smiling too much at high speed

How about cuuting 2 round holes in a galvanised bucket, and wearing it while u drive? Should really improve the "echo".
Check there isn't still a warrant out for Ned Kelly prior to this!!!

Uh-oh... could it be... my first post moved to the Muppet Forum NO!!!

Also I thought about installing a microphone in the boot and connecting it to my car hi-fi, so even with the seats up I can re-create that de-catted sound. The sub (in the boot) would probably make quite a good job of it...

Cut a hole in your passenger floor pan, and route a straight thru ss exhaust past your left lughole & out the rear window.
Not only will it blow out your eardrums, it will keep u cozy in the winter!

Cool

I had a downpipe fitted yesterday to PPP and it doesn't really make it much louder at all until you boot it... Makes if MUCH quicker though
