I had a Scoobysport mid-section pipe and ITG filter fitted today. I've also already had a SS backbox fitted, but the downpipe is standard.

Whoever said that there was no real difference in noise lied!!! However, I have to say that I like it!

With just the backbox fitted, I got a very nice rumble at slow speeds, but the overall effect was lost somewhat when starting to motor. Now, however, she growls all the time, and sounds like the sportscar she is ( - I'm a Tr3A owner from years back, and that's what they did!).

Coupled with the fact that, with 1800 miles on the clock I'm starting to open it up a bit now, the pleasure is really aural - note the spelling, Suntit, et al!

Whether the missus appreciates it as much when I pick her up from work tonight I don't know!

Pete

Question

Pete,

At what cost was the SS centre pipe and ITG filter?

Scotty.

Scotty,

Cost £130 + VAT.

Jake,

Difficult to tell about any performance gains as it coincides with starting to wind the revs on a bit now, which I've only really started to do this weekend. It certainly feels damn quick, and the sound is lovely. I don't think I could take it any louder, though!
