Big thanks to the chaps and lasses at TSL for attending to this for me, especially Glenn and the Lady who made me a brew

If you are wondering what all the fuss is about, regarding this geometry malarchy, go get it done.

My car has only covered 12,000 miles and it felt like a new beast when it came off the Laser alignment thingy

Therefore all cars should benefit from getting it done.

My MY00 corners like a banshee (!) now and all vagueness in the straight ahead position at speed has vanished

Cheers TSL yet again, you ROCK

Had mine done yesterday having drive 26000 miles without really worrying about it. WOW what a difference. Why don't they come like that out of the box?

Thanks Falkland motorsport...

Mikey,

Did Graham treat you to a spin round the block?

Funny you should say that, i had a slight bump in mine last feb, always thoought it drove o.k, but they put it on 4 wheel laser jobby and that came back a diffrent car, the wheel was bang on central and it was defo more positive, thet said the back wheels were quite abit out! it had done 10000 and it was only in for a front bumper. they should come like this new! cheers Lee

Had the Prodrive settings done at Elite in Rainham (Essex) a while ago along with all wheels re-balanced for around £84.
If you get it done, allow for the tyres to re-scrub to the new alignments before making too many comparisons. The understeer has reduced (although it didn`t U`steer much on 17`s and Toyo`s anyway) to the point where I found myself "over-steering" slighty on a quick stint on a twisty road (chasing a Maserati on the way to Goodwood F of S )
I recieved a read-out of the original settings along side the new, final figures, worth asking for this if you get it done.

Just asked my local Subaru dealer about this and said it would be 4hours labour plus any adjustments! at £40 per hour.

They did suggest a balance first...

Not impressed.
