My car has suddenly lost a lot of its snap.

I only noticed it after I had filled up with Optimax although I dont think that is related as I have stuck some Millers in to check.

I chased a mate in a Supra TT about 10 days ago and it pulled strong all the way. Perfect in fact.

The Defi boost gauge still reads about 1.4 (bar?), which is the same, but the car feels flat, for want of a better word. If I didnt know better id say boost hoses loose or split, but I cant hear or see anything at idle.

Are there any solenoid valves that stick on these cars?

Forgot to mention, my car has the link ECU fitted.

You've just been desensitized with your car and can't feel the acceleration anymore. This happened to me quite a few times so you're not alone. Just drive a Fiesta for the next few days and when you get back to into your scooby, you'll be smilling again...

L.O.L, I thought it WAS that at first.

But this is a more prenounced lack of power, so I think something has gone awry. the car had a real kick before and was more of a handfall on corners.

Im gonna ring BR developments tommorrow to see if the Link has a failsafe like the standard ecu. who knows I might be down to a standard Uk map or something. Although I would expect less boost.

nah -- sounds stupid, but it's not unknown foor the mat in the driver's footwell to slip forward under the accel pedal an take away the last few cm of travel. Worth checking!

anything is worth a look.

Ive had a chat with a few tuners and the current thoughts are fuel pump starvation (but the lambda link says fine) or an air leak, which is my preference.

Ill be back!!!!!!!!

Took my intercooler of and couldnt find anything amiss. so I tightened down the already secure clamps and put it back together.

Voilla, 1.4bars of warp speed again!
