Default Tyres

Hi all

I currently have some verdestin tyres on my scoob and although they got some life as i walked in costco they had a decent deal on £340 for 4 michellin pilot super sports

I think theyre 100 each inc fitting balancing etc but if you buy 4 on a monday they give u £60 off (3 week offer on).

Anyone tried both these tyres?

Verdestiens grip very very well

Not tried them but if you want a good tyre for not a lot of money, then I would try the nankang ns2-r in 180 compound. Got them on mine and they have no problem getting the power down and making the car feel glued to the road

I've got Super Sports on my M135i; brilliant tyres.
They are quite temperature sensitive; they need some heat in them but once there, they grip very well. Tyre wear has been reasonable too.

If you drive loads in the wet, you might want something like Conti Sport Contacts (best wet tyre IMO) but otherwise, grab some. Most super cars have them.

I have Michelin pilot sport 3 on mine.. Personally I find them ok.

Will have to have a look at those in Costco.. Is that just your local one ? Or nationwide?

And just to say.. I paid 150 a corner and that's with 25% off for the michelins.

PS3s are vastly inferior to the Pilot Super Sports.
