There are larger turbos I could have gone for, but I was being cautious given the standard internals ... who knows, perhaps I could have gone bigger ... but ... "am I bovered ?" ..... err .. "No"

As Tim says.. MY05 JDM STis (T20s) topped out at around 360 ish ... hence I went with the LM420 turbo upgrade with FMIC and injectors and Induction ... and now mapped to 425/390 ish I think ... had it that way for 2 years now and no issues .. in fact I still love it .. and the car has over 100k on the clock!

It's a strange difference (strange science I suppose), a single-figure difference in torque for a 52bhp superiority.
Me personally I thought - and explored - all manner of upgrades but came round to thinking "hang on, would it then be a true T20?" so I stuck to the 'purist path'.
I suppose there is the view that if Litchfield does its own suggested upgrade then in reality you've a Hawk T20 'Mk 2'.

It's not just 52bhp though That's just the peak figure which isn't really very interesting. It's the rest of the map fill that will make the difference to how it performs As long as the lag isn't greatly different a 52bhp increase should make a heck of a difference in the performance below the peak figure

Had I not been so far into building my classic Sti RA I would sell up and buy this. I think it's a great car that has clearly been much loved and very well looked after. By the time I'm done I will have similar money in my classic which is a joke.
In my honest opinion this is by far the best impreza for sale at the moment and has been for some time.
A credit to its owner
