Sounds like a spoilt brat to me, you and your mrs are currently reaping what you have sewn, yeah sure we all want our kids to have what we didn't but your not doing him or yourselves any favours by making it too easy for him.

Life is difficult and if he thinks he's just going to have it all handed to him on a plate and to a certain extent gets that from you and your Mrs then one day he's in for rude awakening.

You may think your doing the best for him as his parents but actually your not, because your not preparing him for the reality of life, as i'm sure your aware hard work = reward, what your teaching him is he can pretty much do as he likes and there are no real consequences, and all he has to do is make a bit of a nuisance of himself and you'll give in, which is a lesson i'm sure he learned a long time ago.

TBH from what you say it sounds to me like he's a right little d!ck head and thinks he's the man cos he's working for daddy and can do as he pleases, someones going to have to adjust his attitude and if you don't do it for him there's plenty out there that will, if you get my drift.

So do the lad a favour and give him the sergeant major treatment for a month or two until he EARNS the right to use the car, fair enough if he needs it for work then that's ALL he gets it for, then he might actually start to respect you instead of seeing you as a soft touch.

But hey what do I care i'm not the one that has to live with it.

PS, if he was mine i'm make the little ****** work it off before I gave him another penny, few weeks without money soon starts to bite especially when all his mates start taking the p!ss.
