Judging aside.. What is quite interesting is the numbers of WR1's remaining. If what he's written is true, almost half the WR1 population no longer exists. That's a big percentage of a ltd edition which you'd expect to be cared for.
There were a lot of them so you'd expect a few of them to have fallen into the wrong hands by now, but also a fair few of them have been exported.
Although maybe half or so are registered here a lot of them will be absolutely fine, just hanging around elsewhere!
