Baines wants to go, no word on Fellani, another of those deals that will be completed at the last knockings no doubt, Kenwright always goes for the money eventually....

I'm beginning to wonder if we're getting anyone signed at all now.

Anyone watch the game yesterday?
I thought we were very poor in the first half, and we definitely need some midfield help.

We lacked creativity in midfield that is for sure. Its not like we got whooped – a glancing deflection by Liverpool and a 2nd half where we dominated possession but lacked any clear cut chances. But at the end of the day 4pts from 9 does not cut it.

Welbeck reminds me of Andy Cole. Give him 4 chances and he will score. Against the top teams you don’t get 4 chances.

See Arsenal just signed Ozil. Great signing.

How do you mean? They've bought a very good AM when they needed a CB or two, a GK a CF and a DM

United needed two CM and bought one.

I think most united fans would - a couple of days ago - have bit their arms off for Ozil. Fellani isn't really that exciting as a singing although he is ok, and united had to over pay for him.

Absolutely fine thanks Tony

One swallow doesn't make a summer, the **** really needed more than Ozil and the lack of investment of that type over many seasons has shown with the lack of silverware.

Yeah, I was hoping he'd go for a nice sum so we could bring in someone else.

I don't think any united fan doubts Nani's ability, its his consistency and decision making that is stopping him becoming the player we all know he can be.

Is Ozil as good as Fabregas.... you gained a more expensive player, who I wouldn't say is better. And I understand you've had to completely back-track on the whole "holier than thou" wage structure (which lost you RVP/Fabregas).

Also, being a German in Madrid, would you leave Real for
A. The most successful team in England (Utd)
B. The Richest team in the premier league (Citeh)
C. Probably the best manager in the premier league (Chelsea/Jose)
D. A manager on the brink of being sacked, having not won a bean for 7 years.

And also why did Real let him go if he's that good? Let's be honest, you got him because nobody else went for him.

LOL at the piccy

Fells could be a great signing imo, can play anywhere in the mid and a big lad for those set pieces up front, fans seemed to take to him as well.

Positive of the CP game, Adnan got another run out and again he made the game look simple, I have high hopes for him and want to see some more of Jesse Lingard.

Good performance last night in the champions league.
Rooney played really well, great goal from RVP.
Two sloppy goals to concede though.

RvP did well to get the shot off from that height and on his weaker side. But the keeper should have saved it as was straight at his face. Looked like he was afraid it would smear his makeup so flapped it into his own goal.

We did look good going forward. Defence still looked flakey – just get rid of the ball ffs. Rooney should have setup RvP rather than go for goal but he missed and 2 mins later they were level.

After saying on here Rooney could go earlier in the summer, I found his demeanor in the post match interview quite intruiging.

Firstly the reporter was a bit tacky and crass at times, he should have left those questions until the end, not 2nd question in especially after his performance.

Rooney seems to have grown into a man, he sounded far more grown up than the squeeky kid he's always been, maybe he has matured ??

He's playing like he was at his peak as well as looking fitter.

When's he's on the pitch he looks happy and the other players seem to respond to him again and he certainly has OT eating out of his hand. It can give the impression he wants to be at United.....

Then you notice how he wasn't best pleased at being taken off, although I thought Moyes was thinking along the lines of resting him with City coming up and also, cleverly imo, it allowed him a standing ovation from the crowd, tugging on the heart strings, the psychology has started in earnest

And his responses to the tougher questions

Seems hell bent on scoring as many goals as he can, I predict a bumper crop from him this season if Moyes continues to play him just behind rvp.

Possibly he wants to ram it down everyones throats and get a new contract, or have a great season and flick united 2 fingers and push off to Chelsea, God knows they need a striker , lastly Chelsea's fortunes may well show him the grass isn't always greener.

So all in all I'm no wiser as to wtf will happen with him , it will be interesting to watch especially if he channels it into his football.

Yes I'm giving him a third chance FFS
