That's all my point was Matt.

Some peoole blame it all on immigrants sponging. Some blame it on the indigenous sponging.

Indeed but I bet that the vast majority of our woes lie with the latter group. I think immigrant benefits account for 6% of the entire welfare budget.

Exactly!

We need to sort out our own problems first, not add fuel to the fire and import more claimants.

Yep, agree with that. But I'd be interested to know at the percentages per capita over actual overall numbers (obviously less immigrant claimants as there isn't 30 million of each if you follow).

TBH the 6% is only a vague figure I remember from a fortnight or so ago.

There were 370,000 immigrants claiming out-of-work benefits last year apparently. I don't know what that equates to but it is obviously a substantial amount.
