Just make sure when it gets here you get it all fitted. Looking forward to the results. What is the setup your running with this blower? Ie fmic/tmic, cc of injectors?

This is from a Kamak Td05-20g 7Cm on a EJ20G with a very conservative tune and a intake which was collapsing!
I have a feeling this turbo will do 400 with out too much struggle!
Strange graph, new one added few posts down!

It's nearly been a year since fitting my turbo and starting this thread, the turbo is running very nicely indeed! Always spools up smoothly and holds boost strongly whenever I give her full throttle!

In 2nd gear, il hit full boost by about 3800rpm, between 3000 and 3300 i get a gradual increase in boost due to the safety of the map! Wen mapping the car, he played about with the wastegate cycle to allow it to boost smoothly as the hawkeyes have have 'not so strong' pistons under heavy boosting so it's just to be on the safe side! When I get around to changing the pistons, gaskets, stud kit, il be increasing the boost to about 22psi and have the boost step up quicker, that should push the turbo.

Definitely, considering buying one of these now . When I do should I ask them to send it as a gift aswell as putting the invoice on the inside? Also, would it be best to get a billet compressor wheel plus adjustable actuator if they do not already come with them
Regards,
Subaru Collector 555.

So it sounds like your gearbox is holding well, I may upgrade to a hawkeye wrx gearbox from a blobeye so that it will cope in the mid 300's.

Yeah the gearbox is sound at the moment! I never abuse my gearbox, smooth shifts into each gear and it should last a long time! Some people shift very hard and then question build quality when they break haha. Send them an email asking about import tax costs, then what they did with me was mention writing "gift" on the box to attempt to avoid import tax, which worked

I think 400whp is possible... This run was far to rich...
1 bar is 4000rpm
This is a TD05-20 7cm housing on a 2L

After a play today.
Td05-20G 7cm (Kamak- Billet and STS)
Can make 1 bar at 3500rpm in 3rd gear (5 speed box)
1.5 bar just over 4000rpm
This was with electronic boost control. (Yellow trace on chart)
The blue trace was with a poor boost map for spool.
Still a lot of work to go... But this girl can spool!
Using Virtualdynos (Dynojet mode) got the following. (Should be similar to dynojet hp)

Took the plunge and just ordered a Kinugawa td05 18g with 7cm hot side, 3" anti surge inlet, billet compressor and 9 blade turbine. shopping.kinugawaturbo.com/kinugawaturbohyundaigenesistd05h16g300ps-3-1-4-1.aspx
picked it from this site but ordered it from the eBay site as it wasn't listed, but I emailed them from the contact us tag and asked for a quote. lucky i did as it was €150 cheaper for same turbo off ebay site
Will update when it arrives
