I plan to take the plunge on one of these 20G twinscrolls to try it on my legacy to replace my vf36 at the end of january. I'm hoping it can make close to 400 with other mods?

I was thinking of TD06SL2-20G or TD05H-20G but not sure of power levels that are achievable with these as a twinscroll, any ideas?. I'm looking for 450 Bhp twinscroll turbo. Lm and Sc are very pricey. for a ebay turbo there lasting and with good results.

From what ive read you will probably need the TD06SL2-20G to get over 400bhp. Im ordering The TD05H-20G with billet adjustable actuator and 9 blade billet STS turbine wheel. I hope it can get to 400 on 95 unleaded!

Interesting read this.
Was looking at the VF43 or VF48 as a replacement for my VF28, but fancied a TD05 of some sort for a bit more strength and maybe a DV delete.
These might tick my box, just not sure what spec to go for to get 350BHP+ on a 2.0L

Hi Scott

For yours target BHP I would go probably with 16G Billet or 18G Billet, although I would more inclined to 16G Billet which should make yours BHP

Thanks,Jura

18G Billet would be good.
Whats the standard inlet size as Kinugawa website seems to have many options.
Quite like the Anti-Surge cover, but don't fancy having to take the inlet off 'again' to fit a new larger inlet hose.

Nope just waiting on a heatshield to turn up and also some dei wrap for up pipe. I'll fit it myself I think and get the map tweaked. Failed MOT on emissions, running rich I think so need to get that sorted as well
