i swear this is true. when the story broke a few weeks back we were on a break in work and i was reading the story in the paper, so i said to the young guy who works for me "i see that bladerunner guy is getting done for murder" "who? harrison ford?" we were all rolling on the floor lol.

I wouldn't claim to know any more than the rest of us but the guy was done for murder so I merely wondered why you think that 6 years is appropriate.
I didn't know the appeal route was still open - I thought this was the final conclusion.

Yes, it does seem light. I think his remorse, disability and that walking-on-stunts evidence play a big part in it being light. I felt really bad to see him give that evidence. I have to say I felt worse when I saw Reeva's badly wounded lifeless pics. Oscar at least has his life; quality of that is in question until he's in jail. His parents haven't lost their child of someone else's rage or paranoia.
