That reminds me, I met a girl at a club the other night and she told me she’d show me a good time.
When we got outside, she ran 100m in 9.69 seconds.
Wtf is that all about

Can you imagine getting out of bed strapping on your legs, whist not even glimpsing the shape next to you
Then seeing a light on in the john, reaching for your tools and deciding there's an intruder taking a dump and best shot him away
Bloody unlucky, im not saying he didn't make a mistake -. but just crazy eh

Sounds unlikely to me as I would have expected him to give a warning before firing but it is a different world and only time will tell (if ever)what happened.

Why would, even if they could get over the walls and past gate man, assailant be cowering in the loo
And wouldn't his first reaction be enquire where his women was first

And a gaffe like his must have had a decent alarm system and, I would have thought, a few hungry guard dogs.
He could well become the O J Simpson of South Africa.

Look at the layout of his room/house. It seems soooo unlikely that an intruder would sneak past sleeping occupant to go into an ensuite bathroom and then into a tiny toilet cubical closing the door behind him. Even in the 'heat of the moment' I can't so how anyone could ever expect to find anyone other than their partner/spouse in there.
Factor in that they were heard arguing, that he shot downwards to try and make it 'look' like he was shooting from a lower height (i.e. on his stumps), that he made no attempt to turn on a light or make a warning, and that he didn't call from one of 4 mobiles for help. It seems pretty clear what happened to me.

I don't disagree with any of the above BUT......
We don't know all the facts yet, there has NOT been a trial just some partial detail played out with loads of press speculation.
We can't just assume someone is guilty based on this.
My gut feel is he did it but how do we know he shot downwards to make it look like he was shooting from a lower height based on what we have heard? Etc etc
God help us all if we are faced with any sort of trial.

Read something on BBC news website about angle of bullets through the wood. I agree, lots of facts still to emerge. However, it certainly doesn't look good and I really struggle to see how his story (even if he can prove every fact of it) is justification for what he did.
You don't just unload rounds into a tiny ensuite bathroom in the dark in the middle of the night without there being more than a good chance that it's your wife/gf as opposed to a random intruder with a toilet bowl fetish. I know it's not the UK, but I still feel that shooting unprovoked into a tiny room blind when you know a human is in there is intent to kill and surely that, if nothing else, is a crime in any country?

Maybe he did
You heard the evidence to make a judgement either way or just going on the half baked detail we have heard so far?
FWIW, I do think he is guilty but we are too quick to judge based on half the facts

I've stayed in people's houses in Pretoria as a mate of mine got married there. Living in fear is just the way it is out there, the family pet is a pitbull, the gardens have barbed wire, even in the gated communities, there are armed private guards in mini outhouses dotted around the housing estates, it's like a peacetime warzone. People live in constant fear that they will be robbed/raped/murdered even in their own homes, so it's not that surprising that he is trigger happy.
