Clarkson your a C@@K
Top Gear presenters have always got somthing to say negative about any car that costs anything less then 100k. You got to remember that these guys have millions in the bank. Would any of us be driving around in a impreza if we was on the sort of money these guys are on.
Anything that is fast, with lairy styling and costs under 30-40k brand new(Scoobs, Evo, VXR, Focus RS etc etc), would be classed as yobish to Clarkson and co as they end up being cheap enough after a few years to the working class person, and to Clarkson working class are Yobs!!!

That is very true but is that more about the label then the car cos it cost more. For me its about the love of the brand and everything subaru money or not i dont think that would change. maybe it would a bit go will beond 500hp

The bit that I got annoyed at was the skinny Prius reference, surely that thing needs decent sized tyres to cope with the batteries ?
And surely a Toybaru should be fun to drive, not all grip and no fun ?
IMHO.

The GT86's engine & running gear is predominantly Subaru design, & I don't have a problem if Toyota want to take some credit for it.
The 3 d*ckheads on TG are entertaining, but clueless when it comes to technical matters or driving prowess.
Yes Imprezas used to be chav accessories, but is it still the case in 2013? Surely 20 years on, its (mainly) the real enthusiasts who drive them now. Chavs always have the Fords & GMs to fall back on....

To be honest i think clarkson lost it awhile ago. I watched the jagaur xkrs against the nissan gtr and he mentioned the Nurburg ring times and said the xkrs was around 8 minutes 40 (same as the golf r32) when its in the mid 7's. I think he has now chosen to be as controversial as possible in order to gain publicity. Shame, i used to like him
A friend of mine (who drives an astra vxr) has not stopped reminding me of this... although that's probably because I took the **** out of him because they used an astra vxr in the "understeering explanation".
This
On the show i can't stand Hammond, but i know a guy who works on Top Gear, and he says Hammond is the only down to earth one out of the three of them.
Apparently May is just very boring and quiet, and Clarkson does nothing but moan.
