Still laughing at Clarkson, who lets face it is not on our wavelength. If I am a yob I must be the oldest yob...... Still want to see if they contradict themselves when the wagon is used in Africa.

They all love the impreza. Clarkson has owned them and raved about them in his columns

i watched it and i thought they were sad to see it go because they like it and lets face it the imprezas has a chav/yob image.

 

Because it's not an Impreza,they are aiming for a different customer.

Do people not realise that he makes fun about everything then contradicts himself later.

He only did 2 mins on the BRZ as they are EXACTLY the same about from the badge so why spend so much time on describing it?

Course the Impreza is a yobby car! I find it quite funny really, I have one but am not a yob. But it is loud, in your face and invariably being driven just that little bit quicker than anything around you at that time.

This months top gear magazine has a 2-3 page write up about it and is mostly positive lol

 

Think they were genuinely sad to see it leaving these shores myself. Probably because there's a lack of working mans performance cars these days.

EU and UK RFL can take the blame for that.

 

They were def sad to see it go.

I can't disagree with the "yob" tag, they and we still respect Imprezas.

Plus it's still way more publicity than Subaru has had in the last few years.

 

Im not at all surprised that Subaru aren't bringing another Impreza over here! All we do is modify the hell out of them, then moan about it..

 

I met Clarkson a few months back. My friend and I approached him after he'd been filming near work with that funny electric / petrol white and blue car - really small with like a crash helmet / windscreen!

I can't remember the price of the road tax, but I do remember thinking it was pretty expensive.

My friend and I said hello to him, and any chance of a picture (he'd been having a *** behind the crew coach) but he just looked at us and grunted, then got onto the coach.

One of his cronies explained that he'd been filming all day, but to be honest, I found him quite rude.

If he'd agreed to the picture, I would have given him my phone, stood next to my mate and said "cheers Jeremy, you can take it now!"

Ha ha he'd probably have liked that!

The small car was then put onto a wheelchair lift and loaded into the front of the full size single decker coach.

It's fairly easy to tell how shallow Clarkson is: he comes from Rotherham, the land of thee and thou, yet HE says BARTH, PARTH, CLARSS, etc. Fakey jake.

 

OMFG,A bloke called Jeremy Clarkson on the telly said that imprezas are for yobs,1999 subaru impreza for saleget a grip people,i personally took it as his usual sarcasm,but who gives a sh*t what he thinks.Wanted lexus LFA its meant to be the best car in the world.

 

Me and the missus had a good laugh (at my expense) but it's all good fun. Clarkson knows damn well how good the Impreza has been over the years, and he's said so on many reviews both inside and outside of the Top Gear show.

Even my Grandma called me a Chav when I told her what I'd bought, it's all in the name of a bit of fun.
