Clarkson at his finest, moaning about how our payments to the EC have built all of Spain's roads/infrastructure and fund their fishing fleet at the expense of Cornish fishermans livelyhoods.
Best bit was him pulling up to the toll booth and arguing with the cashier that he had already paid to use the road, by paying 40% of his earnings in tax, in the UK last year, much of which was used to build the road. Hilarious.
Some very good points in there, like how we can't afford to maintain our roads, because we are spending £3,500,000 building roads in Spain every year.
He goes to France next week

Class indeed. However I felt the fish stealing was too contrived.
The best bit was when he was wandering around Madrid's buisness centre at 2pm and it looked like something from the twilight zone.

Brilliant TV, and a series not to be missed, but the sad fact is that the underlying message is that we are being raped by our Euro neighbours, and it's true.
Germany, France Italy and Spain in particular milk the Euro system for all it's worth. I used to despise them for this, but after having been to various European countries about 30 times to ski in the last eight years, I now actually quite admire them.
Unfortunately, when you get to know it you can get to quite like the Euro way of life, and I would quite happily live in any of those countries mentioned above. In reality, in a lot of ways they run their countries better than we do. France - TGV Paris to Lyon? - they just drew a perfectly straight line from A to B, and just went ahead and built the bloody thing. Public enquiry? - don't be bloody silly!
Euro bureaucracy is a bit crap though, and don't even talk about Euro laws being inflicted on the UK!
Still, Teflon Tone is hell bent on being President of Europe, so that will eventually wake them up a bit LOL
