why do you want to make a Spec-D into an STi, when the Spec D was about £2k more expensive than the STI option?

Correct was, now sadly there about £2k behind haha

I couldn't afford the sti, don't particularly like leather the sped d is just such value for money.

Umm rb320 interior anyone

Picked up and wet vac

The next job was to remove the leather interior, and clean the remnants of the previous owner including the nice buiscuits.

Notice my seats have both airbags and seat belt warnings, I have had two deals in place. First was a set of late blob seats version 9 including correct door cards, second was a set of version 8 seats but offered were bugeye door cards, not ideal and the fact meant both seats having no airbag if have to use resistors to fool the ecu.

The rb320 seats being version 10 clipped right in.

And here they are

Must say a massive thanks to Chrisr as he came with and helped fit it, I even let him Have the nice biscuits I found under the seat with his brew

They are not from a RB320 mate. RB320 are black leather / alcantara with orange RB320 stitching. They look like normal hawk sti seats.

Ok there not from an rb320. The car was just a replica, with the correct vin plates, reg and all the stickers.

Not all rb320 had the fancy trim some came with the boggo sti trim

Ffs, this is the actual car

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Imp...-/271153445734

I know there just sti seats, that's what I wanted lol. Not leather not stitched with rb320 but they did come out of an rb320 and no I paid no where near that price!!

After looking at a PDF of the original brochure it looks like they did come with this interior. I was under the impression that they only came with leather or leather /alcantara.

Every days a school day.!!

Just the basic spec, like they could have black carpets etc. it's just the spec you order

Trying to find a version 10 interior full stop is hard

It is lol.

It was taken from an actual rb320 it's just standard spec sti seats, most people who bougt the rb320 stumped up the extra money for the limited edition seats.

Next job needs to be a wheel refurb and then paint and fit the fog covers when they get here.

I need to decide if I'm going to fit my sti door decals or not ummmmm

Guess the guy that Jumped in saying that the interior was never fitted to an RB is feeling a bit stupid now then.

Should have checked facts first I guess

Interior got another full clean today. Just to make sure nothing had been missed.

Next week when it's dry it will be sealed with ag life shine.

I've also fitted door decals and will to the fogs once they arrive.

Does a sti type uk have fog lights fitted behind the covers? If not what are mine worth with their covers?

If they're the crystal type (clear lens) I sold mine for about £30, but I think they were slightly under-priced

I remember when the RB320s first came out there were a few threads on scoobynet about the fact that they came with std STI or the leather RB320 seats, but the later were an optional extra. Which seemed stupid as the RB320 was a ltd edition model and you'd had thought they'd all been the same.

I'd like a pair of leather RB320 branded seats in the front of my spec d though. :-)

Would be great to know whether it works in the end, avoiding main dealer costs for spare keys is a long running saga that many would love to avoid.
