For the time being yes, with 18's I think the arch gap would look too much and I don't want to lower the car.

Couldn't agree more, it is a load of boll0cks, but at least you got some decent coverage with it for the obligatory photo shot

Tbh I have ALWAYS said its a load of crap designed to sell more stuff the the masses, I bowed down to peer pressure and bought a cheap kit through the trade. So didn't get stung too bad,

I just don't see it's use, it's ph neutral so wont strip wax or road film for that matter, your using it cold too,

When you could use a pressure washer on high heat to blast the crud off then wash as per normal.

Exactly, its sold as a hands off solution, but how is that any different to using a decent pressure washer. You're right its a gimmick for the masses.

Decided against the 15/50 in favour of 10w40.

Another update rear spoiler order canceled,

I ordered form said company over the phone. Money went out same day, a week passed on next day delivery, I rang only to be told there was no stock but should be here next week, again I had to ring up and yesterday had been told it should be next week, so I've canceled the order.

loving your thread mate.
id get a genuine roof spoiler if i was you, some of the copies are terrible and sag etc.
the genuine one is ally and in three pieces, the end caps are the only bit coloured and are easily removed for painting, i fitted one using rivnuts which i believe is whats used in the factory.

im considering an smy cluster thing like yours, can you tell me if it fits good with no gaps please, i read they are developed for lhd cars and have fitting problems on rhd models.

The spoiler is/was three pieces.

I don't really want to name the company.

It will be fitted in the oem way.

The cluster fits 85% perfect on the left, but a bit shy on the right. Mines been melted there so I'm going to reshape it when I get a minute.

New rear spoiler found and ordered hopefully it will arrive Monday.

Development on the key.

Basically you buy a new key from maindealer have it cut and coded this is £250-300. Depending where you go.

Next option you can get a blank subaru/Nissan non remote fob. This will manually work the doors and ignition aswell as start the car.

Third option is what I'm trying.

Buy an identical one button key,

Then remove the blade very carefully.

The plan is to now get a blank blade cut then install that in the fob, followed by coding it in.

In theory it should then remotely open/shut the doors, manually operate the doors/ignition and finally start the car also.

Wish me luck.
Ps on another development the interior may be for sale.
