Thanks chaps

I'm just tidying up the rear lights and roof vent, I notice both have small washers, the lights look like hard foam and the vent has rubber like washers sealing them, are these sort of sealing washers available at all in multi packs etc

Here's what's left of them

The other option is to make some as I have a roll of Butyl Tape which is the black sealant for the rear lights.

Big update today.... Firstly lets go back in time to see the shell from start to finish. I was taken aback when I looked through the pictures on the camera and realised the extent of the Craig's work on the shell.

Then we get deeper into prep work.

Cor blimey, a bit of work!?

Did you ever consider getting it dipped? There doesn't seem to be much structural rust really.

Fair play Simon car is looking superb

Owen just had his back and fair play to Craig he really has done a top job

That's going to be a show stopper no questions asked with the amount of time, care and workmanship you've put in to it, keep up the good work bud

That's a real comprehensive job and looks top notch - I'd hate to imagine the hours that had gone into that

Jon it shocked me too I'll admit when I looked through the pictures on the camera, I had not realised fully even though I had glimpses of it on my visits up there. I am really chuffed with the workmanship these guys are old school.

First off what you see is not all fully tightened in places so if you spot a loose nut or bolt don't worry... Also the discs are fitted as rotational ones would be but these are just OEM with grooves so they will be coming off to be swapped around.

As you will see Rhys has made some great progress this week.

You probably don't want to divulge such information but... how much does this extensive work cost considering there isn't a lot of welding needed?

*drools* clean bits

I appreciate the question but I'm not going to divulge the costs on the build
Let me just say I'm comfortable with it and also with it in its breakdown of individual sections. I was very lucky with the shell it was in really good condition in many respects even though it was rusty it was not to deep and excessive which helped a lot with the shell work.
