I've just bought the iPad 4th gen rather than the iPad mini (cheers Swiss) - main reason was while the mini was smaller it was also trickier to use with my "man sized hands" and the iPad speed is now twice that of the mini and old iPad........
Was considering a notebook computer but couldn't be arsed in the end.

Ive just ordered the 4th Gen iPad. I planned to get the wife one for xmas and my son has a 2 so ordered 3 in the end. That was an expensive trip to the apple website.

Quite a few ardent Iphone owners I know have changed to the Galaxy S3, my colleague who was dead set on an Iphone 5 went for a Galaxy Note 2, I tried the 5 but still preferred the Galaxy.
About time they brought out the Mini though, still it is too expensive for what it is with all the competition.
