Hang on, you're hitting full boost at 5.5k? That sounds absolutely *horrible* for a road car What gear is that in?

As said before, 42 is best for a 2.0 and 46 for a 2.5! But saying that, if its a bargain (and assuming its mint £800 is a bargain) then you may see the extra wee bit of lag as an acceptable trade off for the £800 or so between this second hand 46 and a new 42.

Wiley, it means nothing posting up graphs without saying what fuel its on! 470bhp from a 42 on a 2.0 must be using meths! On just V power its good for 420, as the 46 is good for 460 (on meths theyve hit 500+)

Peter, the a massive thread on here about the scoobyclinic billet turbos with all sorts of graphs for all sorts of setups. It takes a while to go through as the popularity of these turbos has generated alot of interest and customers, but i can guarentee on there somewhere theres a 46 on a 2.0 on vpower, and kev "thegaffer" is a bloody nice bloke and will undoubtably answer all your questions! Hes nice enough to trust to give you an honest answer rather than just trying to sell you a new 42!

As for lag, yes it will be laggyer than a 42, but not by that much .... and at a guess id say it'll still be better than a td0520g.

I'm amazed, might shelve my plans for a 46 & go for a 42 instead

I think when people quote figures they should say with which fuel/additive and mods.

Still a great result & I'd be happy with that. I'm considering replacing my RCM400 with one of thes now.
