9/12 Apple Day
I was hoping for a revolutionary change to my already decent iPhone 4. I'm expecting iOS6 to ruin the performance.
There was nothing really new with it or anything worth shouting about. The first thing that sprung to mind is, I'll need to get new chargers, car radio, docking station. An adapter isn't the solution just a workaround so the cost of actually getting an iPhone 5 and getting it to the usability of my current one is staggering...

Really disappointed it still has a physical home button. One of the iphone's real weak points.
Can't say I'm that inspired to rush out and get one though, or update to iOS6 (depending on what limited features I'll get on a standard '4')

The Jack "Apple" Clark PR department is going to have its work cut out with this release, i like the iphone and currently have one but this one does nothing for me, not sure it will do much for even the hardest die hard apple fan.
The only people i can see getting the iphone 5 are the addicts that have to have the latest release regardless if its any good and those who get it free on a contract.

You must be sorely dissappointed with the iPhone 5, no new innovations, no wow factor, no game changing feature, it is in essence just a 4S with 0.5" bigger screen like we all said it would be. iOS 6 is pretty much the same, nothing innovative, still looks the same and offers nothing significant from all the other iterations of iOS, it's going the same way as Blackberry OS. I think on the whole a big disappointment today from Apple and I guess this will be echoed in tomorrows media/press.
Like others have posted there doesn't seen to be much reason to swap my iPhone 4, i might just look for something on a 12 month contract and upgrade, don't think i can justify £3-500 on a phone that doesn't have much more features to my current phone.

Don't think I'm missing anything with my iPhone 4s especially when I upgrade the OS to IOS6. I'm going to wait 12 months and see how things pan out generally with the roll out of 4g networks before I choose another handset.
