I was directed to this thread on the back of the thread 'mappers-a law unto themselves' which in its self has some very good points
I hope toneh doesn't mind me pulling this out of the archive but it's very current to what my thoughts are and my actions will be. I'm only on page 2/28 atm and it will take me a while to read fully(a bit like my DIY mapping will) for me the quote below sums up the way I feel right now.
I will look forward to reading the rest of this thread and many more helpful ones in the near future regarding DIY mapping. Cheers to the op and others for giving this very interesting subject legs
