Kylie was looking just lovely - more than ever. I only started watching from then and it was excellent from then on (if it wasn't before). A good speech by Charles I thought as I know he has his knockers on here but I enjoyed that

Yes sadly Sir Paul has got rather ropey in these recent years, old age kicking in and showing now more and more
Why didn't the queen at least say thank you? why let Charles do the speech?
And why did they end with the french flag projected onto the palace

I wondered about that -- but ----

I thought the Jubilee concert was brilliant. Projections on the castle were astounding! I loved Elton John's performance as much as Tom Jones's. Energetic Robbie has lost a bit of weight, and he has gone quite grey, I noticed. Cheryl and Kylie were two annoying people in the line-up. Kylie has had her botox-gone-wrong on her forehead fixed, I noticed. She didn't put on her sex-shop dress (she wears it on her new song) for the occasion or the Queen would have had to either shut her eyes or go like > :eek. The Queen herself looked good, shame about her husband taking ill. Hope he gets better soon. Congrats to the cute Queen- Yaaaaye!

Yeah, you're right. he now essentially has to wear the elasticated straps stuck to his pants so that they don't fall down. That is why losing weight doesn't always make people look young. Anyway, he and Sir Cliff (another ropey person) seem to be fit and healthy, so that's a good thing.

Great concert, makes me feel proud to be British, there were a couple of ropey performances and I didn't think a lot of will.i.am (why was her there?) Grace Jones or Cheryl Cole and at one point I thought Cliffs teeth were gonna fall out.
Best performances were from Tom, Elton, the military wives and the whole gang who sang "sing" which was brilliant.
Well done Gary Barlow. Or will that be Sir Gary soon?

One thing I'd like to add about Gary Barlow. He needs to stop doing that XFactor job. He doesn't need cheap popularity, nor is he desperate for money. Copying Simon Cowell doen't suit him, he is utter cr@p at it. Quitting that should do his reputation favours or the next Take That tour will be half-empty because of his obnoxious attitude on XFactor. I hope Simon doesn't recruit him again.

Yeah great show. Must be hard to try and please everyone from age say 5 to 90!!
Thought they might have painted those stage cranes red, white and blue
Didn't see it all but was Adele there or Leona??
Grace Jones - rubbish, always has been IMO.
And I did miss Freddie

Bit of a hit or miss concert imo.
Cheryl and Will.I.Am were shockingly bad.
Cliff and Paul M are struggling to hit the notes they once used to hit.
On the other hand, Madness, Tom Jones and Kylie performed really well.
All the comedians did a fair job too.

She looks well' ard, that woman. I think she did good job in keeping that hoop going whilst singing along with that. I was waiting for it to drop any moment, but she skillfully kept it circulating. Anyone saying, "WTF was she doing with that hula hoop ?", I'll ask them to hula hoop while singing a ballad with it themselves for 3-4 minutes, and then post their video of their act here for us to judge. Then we'll see if they can do better than her. She is a fine acrobat IMO. Very dangerous looking person indeed.
Depends if you get us the tickets again, though. Then yeah, I might consider.

What was your basis for passing that remark anyway.

Grace Jones was nuts. Was it me or did she wish the Queen "Happy Birthday" at the end? Anyhow, I have to post a link to one of the best songs ever. And it's by Grace Jones. So she's alight in my book

Personally I thought it was a bit crap, too many acts that cannot sing, thank god for Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey and Elton John at least they stopped the whole thing from being a comedy routine. The military wives are working for a good casue but their singing ability is non existant and to be honest when combined with a bad song and terrible outfits it was cringeworthy. Also had that hula hoop bull**** followed by a song about crack ****** ? the concert made me cringe and I had to switch ot off long before Paul Mcartney showed up with his zimmer frame.
