As for fund raising, the women organise these runs to raise money for breast cancer as it obviously affects them more than men, even though some men can get it. Men should do the same. Get organising lads, run for prostate cancer or whatever else it takes to get more money raised for research. We like having you around.
I completely agree, but I don't think a smear is anything like a prostate exam uncomfortable, but ... when I was 16 they thought I had a blockage in my back passage (they being medical professionals not some random blokes) so the doctor had to put his finger in my poor little bum and check, he went as deep as the second knuckle and I can honestly say at that point I thought I was going to poo and throw up at the same time, the feeling it gave me and the reaction from my body was horrible. I have no idea how anyone, male or female can enjoy anything going in that way ..

Although I would expect most of SN would actually enjoy it, a finger being a much smaller object than they are used to
