I know when i was running 410bhp on my newage STI i had to run a bigger Hyperflow top mount
its got a top mount sti intercooler it says on the dyno that its boosting at 1.4 bar capable of more but as i said before mite be a running in map but no sure to be honest only had the car a few months

I would guess that the car is mapped safely at those figures due to the 2.5 bottom runnig standard sti internals.

not sure on clutch as i didnt do the rebuild
will have to ring teg up to get full details think it was mapped by steve simpson at teg but not sure with the bottom end going on only 10000 miles ago maybe its a running in map i have print out to prove bhp but not got a pic will take one soon and post it i have only owned this car for the last 3 months but got receipts worth around 15k for rebuild and mods also receipt for initial purchase in 2004 for £24,999

What Clutch?

How come your selling after 3mths?

Also I cant understand why its only running the power claimed with the build and supporting mods, yes its a nice torque figure but the bhp is a little low for what you would expect. Im aware the STI TMIC maybe a contributing factor, but you should be looking beyond 400, I would say 420+ then its FMIC time but only mapper could give you that detail for the specific car.

Have I asked already, or have you stated and I missed it, but where abouts are you located. If local I may come and have a look.

The OP's claiming Nitrated crank and forged pistons, I would be interested to know the rest of the build, and whether its pinned or not?

i have just rang teg and they said that it has got a nitrated crank but dont think its got forged pistons as up to 450 bhp the pistons should be ok

are the newage sti pistons semi forged anyway

and you can come and look at the car at the weekend if you want lol or i can meet half way if not to far
