Not had it done yet but the whole roof and flap (if it gets fitted) will be about £100 to 130.
This may change up or down as Huw as not had to buy the stuff before and as it will be the wider section the cost is estimated. To keep the finish, look and not worry about lacquer peel then, it's worth it.

I was forgetting about this thread.... a small update maybe
I dumped the CAI idea I could not get a kit I was happy with the quality was sadly lacking. But what I done is fit the induction sheild from the states (thanks Ty) along with a red finish RCM induction kit along with finishing the Miltek system off, finially finished off with a 310L RCM fuel pump to be safe.
All fitted by Andy at Ace and it was then mapped by Bob Rawle from Ace as the mapping base.... and a big thanks to Dean for doing the driving, he got a lot more out of it than I ever would that's for sure. Bob was very complimentory of the car and how it mapped he said it was a good one, no print off for bhp as the roads up there are not flat enough for a decent power run but Bob estimates around the 340/330 area and it goes so well now
Since that I have had the geometory re done along with the coilovers adjusted for height and checked with Andy and we have dropped the front of the car 20mm as it was to high and it has made a massive difference to not only the look but the way the car handles.
No new pictures at the moment but I will have some in a few days time
One little job that I am looking at doing at some point will be getting the car up on stands removing the discs and then I can rub down and paint the centres plus the gaurds behind the discs, then at the same time I can re paint the inner arches and get it back up to scratch.

A progress update on my Type R (at long last!):-
She's been up with Lee (Catalunya 172) and the team at OSE for the past two months , and starting to take shape now....
(dodgy phone pics, but you get the idea what's going on)
....and this little baby turned up yesterday ready for fitting with the Safety Devices cage at the weekend
Just a few finishing touches to do ready for Epynt Hillclimb on 16th of June..... I cannot wait!

The 6 speed short shifters are quite expensive as the reverse gear is on a lift collar and engage, whereas on a 5 speed you depress the lever and engage - plus there aren't too many companies making them for the 6 speed as they are more complex and more expensive to make.
