More classy? It looks like my Alpine from the late 80's which at that time along with the Denon amp plus Fosgate speakers was worth more than my car at the time.
But times move on...

Funnily enough I was going to buy an Alpine 136bt but as I'm not a big radio listener plus DAB is not the broadcast standard yet so I went for the Kenwood.

I agree with Frayz that in most modified performance cars the ICE is just in most cases background noise, it can be even less when you have a car with no sound proofing.
The best upgrade for any car sound system has to be the speakers, Sonic Frontiers fitted a set of Morel speakers to my S202 along with Dynamat in the doors to remove any sound distortion.
The difference was amazing, it cost a lot more than the head unit at that time but it made the sound 200% better.

JDM red hazard switch made it to me today thanks Steve
That gives me 2 jobs now that I would like to finish for RallyDay
The second job being wheels off arches cleaned and re under sealed to tidy up then I want to paint the centres of my discs along with the grit guards, they are fading from the oem finish and what I do not want is the dreaded rust to start... If I can get these done for RallyDay I'll be well happy

A sneak preview but I'm not giving to much away just yet
I've removed the panels and have sanded them down in preparation.
Strangely the ash tray cover is in a different colour plastic.
Just a pic showing the panel panel having work started on it.
I'm going to give the black control stickers a go to even though the temperature one is is old money as they are in the states, I'm figuring that location of the switch and info on it will hopefully not show up the different unit of measure used to much.

There's a couple or more hours work there already Frayz..... It's surprising really.
Frustrating parcel farce never turned up today, they should be here tomorrow or on Sunday I'll be driving the car with either a hole in it or a rubbed down console fitted back in !
