I'm sorry, but this attitude really annoys me. It's almost like anyone is fair game other than a person of a different colour.

When somebody insults another, it is usually done quickly in anger without thought, picking up on the easiest thing possible to cause offence. It's not nice, it's not right but it happens. It just really boils my lanky streak of **** when certain people seem to think an insult is so much worse when race comes into play, when the person throwing the insult may well not even be racist. It's just an easy insult at the time. Of course people who are 'different' for a different reason don't matter when something is thrown at them.
