teenage years - spent listening to a pile of crap that was 1980's chart music.
late teenage years got very into heavy metal - can barley stand to listen to it now.
from my mid 20's (so over the last 15 years) my musical horizons have broadened significantly depending on the mood and occasion it may be a bit of Ray Charles, Bach, Pendulum or some unsigned and unheard of folk group - afraid I cant get into the whole rap / hip-hop /urban music thing. Watched some of the MOBO's the other night and despite some of the acts being well regarded in thier circles, I can't see their talent.
listening to Charlene Soraia as I type this - and next up is Fredrika Stahl. Google them if you haven't heard of them.

My list would take up a page, however, was given a couple of free tickets to the Michael Forever gig at the Millenium on Saturday and need to say that the Yolanda Adams rendition of Earth Song was one if the most incredible performances I've ever seen. Staggering.
