Few updates:

Wagon is again in Neil@Slowboy racing, looking like clutch is fcked(our earlier not good launches take so much life from clutch) and we are probably order new Friction plates for Exedy Hyper twin plate or go for Carbonetic Twin plate in future(near future ) if we would like to run more RWYB(but brother like this more and more),we are really missing autobox

As many people said, live and learn

As Neil said,we need practise launches and hope so LC will be fitted/wired on button, which can help us to get to good times(high 11') and don't kill clutch again, plus we are going for shift light from our old Autometer

Plus we are bought Harness bar(thanks Dave@Bomag) which will be fitted as well, new steering wheel and some other bits, plus we need redoing again NOS fitting

And looking like we are loose spool up(on methanol against the V-power) due our clutch ,now we know where has been problem

Yes Dave has been Exedy twin plate, but bad launches doesn't help at all, looking like we are need more practice without the damaging clutch again, nothing is bullet proof in my eyes

We are learn on own

Bugger Jura, thats a darn shame. Im sure AL will assist you, if nothing else just to help until you get the feel for the power.

My first ever launch in my UK bug was ****e, I ended up bogging down. So the 2nd I gave it a few more beans and I got a little slippage from the clutch but a decent start, the thrid aware of the clutch letting slip I gave it a little more hundreds of rpm and I got a decent launch with clutch slippage and wheel spin (eagle F1's) (eek), but manage a reasonable time with a 0-60 of 1.801 I think it was. That was on a Organic uprated single plate. I then opted for a 5 Paddle from a reputable comapny in Leeds, and lets just say I wasnt impressed considering they rated it to 350bhp with simular torque but informed me it would take more like 450/450 but wouldnt take many launches to kill it, well 700-800 miles bedding in and one launch killed it

Hi Rob cheers for that, nothing is easy with us,we are know,we can't abuse too much and we must now learn how to do properly.

Clutch has been mine first thought and Duncan too, plus Neil today this confirm.

Hope so will be now everything OK and no more problems with clutch,we are bought all ready clutch with some miles on it(6k miles, just street miles)

Still think we can go for Carbonetic clutch in future,if everything will go under our plans

Our first launch ever we are stalled on start...Second launch we are done little bit better, but still think this time we are take so much life from clutch, now we know how to do

Personally from my experience its finding that happy medium, some you will do perfectly, some not. Im not a big fan of 1/4's, but as I paid for it as part of the grudgement I ran it for fun. I prefer sprints, hill climbs and circuit days.

LC will certainly put you in good stead, but again that may need to be altered for different surfaces and weather conditions.

Best of luck pal.

Rob thanks, really we are thinking about more possibilities and we are really looking for more track days(not drag, few we will do drag 1/4's,but nothing like before) and mainly we would like take wagon on Nurburgring,Spa and few UK tracks and mainly in Slovakia and Czech republic is Hill climb open in summer which i would like to attend

I'm big fan of Hill Climbs and i've done few in CZE,SK but here i'm not looking for any,its too closed(and they look as circuit) and mainly i like the old school Hill Climb on normal roads with closed roads

About the drag we will see and thanks again Rob

Few updates:

We are today seen the our clutch, but as Neil said seen and his thoughts has been worse, but we are for safety measure get replaced our friction plates for new one, plus pressure plate

Second thing we are going for Race Technology DASH2,just hope so will be everything plug and play, because support CAN/RS232

Third thing is we are probably going for Drag DR31 wheels 17X9 ET 28 with Toyo R888 255/45/17 which we are hopping to purchase from Neil@Slowboy Racing

Here is trial fitting

Sometimes think those 356mm brakes are limited factor if you want go for 17"

Team dynamics Pro Race 1.2 are too in similar size and will clear too brakes, now decision time

Hi there its No quite plug and play, you must select in your Syvecs Custom CAN plus you must reflash DASH2 with custom fw from this link

http://www.syvecs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=174

Or you can ask Syvecs mapper/dealer if he can can do for you, which will be much simpler in many ways

We are went with this dash because is road legal(its SVA approved, will pass MOT),because have built odometer/trip meter

Second thing you will need wire:fuel gauge, indicators, handbrake and other lights from your existing dash to the included loom from Race technology, here is full diagram:

http://www.race-technology.com/wiki/...lation#Figure3

Hope this answer your questions,
