Compared to all previous launch options yes! Straight unto 4.5k and pins you to your seat. Semi damp surface wheel spun through 1st and most of 2nd but still pinning you back and throwing the car forward with force. Cluth engaged really smooth, no slip, no hop, just wheel spin. Got the adrenalin going, haven't had that happen in a while
Had some rolling runs against a mates 600bhp Evo 6, slighty more power than Gtr and lot less weight. Gtr able to pull one and half to two car lengths straight away due to no lag and how easy the torque is to access, mid range was a dead heat couldn't increase but didn't decrease any gap then GTR gear shifts and gearing enabled to pull away in the top range. All in all a good day!

1st optimisation out of the way
Car is awesome, sounds great with the resonated Y-pipe...not too loud in the cabin (compared to my Scoob, lol) but much nicer engine note at 2500rpm +
My visits to Shell are about to double...

The impreza was supposed to go to TFS yesterday, to get a FMIC pipe sorted (rubbing on the bonnet)... Literally 2 minutes off the driveway, EML came on car started to hesitate and would not accelerate. Pulled into the parking at train station and idle was VERY lumpy and then car cutout.
Went down today to tighten up the induction and fmic pipes and a quick clean of the MAF, reset the ECU and all good. Idle was fine, no EML... Thought, cool, drive it home quickly (3 miles) and with 1 mile to go, lots of black smoke, VERY lumpy idle, would not accelerate. Just got it onto the driveway and it died...... PSI3 said fault code was P0171.
Speaking to Stewart to sort out how to get the car to him, so does not look like impreza will be running on Friday On the plus side, it does mean that I may have to consider 2.1l conversions, bigger turbo and a standalone ECU (If its the engine, which I doubt)

Been playing around with RRR mode, but some of the roads around here not so good and normal on suspension seems better choice.
P0171 fault code is too lean, so could be a MAF fault or O2 sensor. I think I've got a spare MAF and O2 sensor from exhaust manifold from when I upgraded mine to Syvecs. Remind me to bring them on 30th if you haven't got the Scoob fixed by then.
