Just back from a test drive in the GTR and..................
................... F**K ME!!!! What an awesome car!!! Comfortable to drive on crappy roads and through town, etc. But bl00dy hell when you get to a bit of open road, it doesnt half pull!!! The 1st->2nd gear change on the flappy paddles, is just ridiculous!!! Yes its a big car, but hardly notice it when driving, might be a little different trying to park and go through small car parks, but very nice.... 480bhp is put down so well for a relatively heavy car. My impreza runs close to 400 and does not even come close to this thing, just felt so much quicker. Out with the sales rep (nice guy - went for a 30-35 minute test drive, would definitely recommend if anyone looking), looked down at the speedo...... and I was shocked (and started braking very quickly)!! The brakes are also pretty damned good...:eyebrows:

Glad you enjoyed it Graham! 480bhp is awesome power for another £2k you could have 600bhp
Running costs aren't as expensive as people are lead to believe. I've had mine for coming up two years and it is marginally more expensive than the EVO9 i had before. Tyres are £1200-1800 a set for the run flats depending on which brand you go for or £1k for non-run flats which have a smoother drive IMO on British roads. I use Litchfield to service mine their schedule and pricing is here http://www.litchfieldimports.co.uk/G..._and_costs.pdf dealers probably 10-15% more expensive on average.
You can even manage 26mpg on the motorway when you're cruising......disclaimer-requires a lot of self-discipline!!!

The new MY11 is pushing 530hp standard & has fancy running lights
Agreed its a weapon. Nissan have just opened a new HPC in Glasgow @ a custom built site in Darnley.

I like them in Red. Most people go for Grey, Silver, or Black.

A 2010 spec car ? What the mileage on it ? I know there are only a couple of brand new 2010 un registered left & all in blue with recaro.

Haha... I actually did not realise that they were any left... Its brand new, un registered 500bhp, auto lights, auto wipers, etc luxury for me
I tested the GTR then the VantageS (£125K new... 600miles = 25K off price) and I preferred the drive of the GTR. The aston paddleshifts seemed "clunky" compared to the Nissan and I just felt out of place in the Aston (probably because I only wear shorts/jeans, tshirt and flip flops - well not in the winter).

I think they are quoted at 475, but since they are japanese, they vary a little
hahaa... I just found that the GTR handled the bad roads a lot better and it was just much better to drive. Felt like I had to have a suit on to own the Aston.

Middlehurst according to Nissan UK are the best in the business, but this new dealership near me seems to want to be there flagship since they have spent 2.5mil on it plus over 30k on training the new tech allegedly at least another 15k is being spent on training there new sales specialist. Big investment i think.
I for one will shortly be ordering an MY11. Just have to decide on colour.
