Well the LC4 update makes the gear shift much smoother, but tried only twice the LC4 with VDC in R mode and the first second was brilliant then VDC killed the fun. I dont think i have it in me to try a 4k launch with VDC OFF, cant see it being better than the Cobb Level 1 LC which still spins the wheels too much with VDC OFF
Quick acceleration test... limited revs and nowhere near full throttle

The missus driving, listen for the "giggle" as she starts to accelerate

I went to see a mate in Romford today so I hit the first magic number on the way back, flappy paddels and 4.5K now at my disposal . Sounds a beast at 4.5K coming from a 4 pot motor. And it feels damn fine in 4th gear on only 40% throttle with only 0.2 BAR
Now I need to remember to switch on Comf mode!
MDF and carbon trim
Pleasure switch
Aero on head light
Needs a wash already

Nice one. You know they don't bother changing the engine oil on the 1200 optimisation. Not sure I like the idea of the same oil and filter used to run in the engine left in for the first 9000 miles...

Who taught you how to park a GTR???? Yes I know the bonnet is open on the one side......... didnt close it properly before taking the pic
300 is the big one, 600 is also very very good actual revs!! 4.5k the car only starts to get going. Think you may also need to clean the interior
I still forget the comfy mode sometimes........
Yeah, I know, but I thought that the next service was 6K? Goes straight in for mods anyway

Safer parking your style, so no one parks near you.
That's what you get driving with the windows down, renders dust and pollen filter useless!
Your service schedule is every 6K, mine is every 9K. If mine sees some track action, I'll probably get them to change engine oil every 4.5K. 9K too long for my liking. The Scoob is still running stock bottom end with 470bhp and 75K on the clock, so frequent changes not a bad thing IMO.
I was going to try and resist temptation and watch TV, but I've got to go out for another 4.5K flappy fix.

I'll stick with the intermediate 4.5K engine oil changes. I mentioned it do the squealer when I picked it up and they said it's not a bad idea if I'm tracking it. Will see if they take the p1ss with oil price and supply my own if so.

I doubt I will launch mine until 2K, no harm letting the clutch and gearbox bed in a bit longer. Plenty of fun to be had without launch control.
What boost are you letting yours up to? Even keeping throttle about 40-50% I can reach 10psi in 4th/5th quite easily. Should help seal the rings to the bores

Nice one, mine is booked in on 23rd. HPC said they were getting busy towards the end of the month...said it would be fine anything over 1100 miles.

No idea not paying attention, I try my best to keep it the range specified, oh well.

Anders quoted is at least 10% less than reality! Mine was 496 ftlbs at Surrey Rolling Road.
Ben is going to send me a reduced boost in 1st gear map and hope that is the cure to a rapid launch!
