Still have my scoob.... 2002 prodrive sti... Taken from standard to 380bhp + suspension + brake mods....
GTR is stunning!!! Love it!! Just trying to decide what to do with the scoob. Currently use to save the parking space outside my house. The GTR is just so good all-round. Able to switch to comfort mode an auto and it drives so comfortably on the road.... Then 3 switches and it's a bit of a monster!! Paddle shift is great fun! The power split is great as it allows the rear wheels to spin and slip, easy to control.... Unlike my old supra!!

Mine is the red one in this thread. It's up to 920 miles and a little more run-in to go.

The second parking space that cost more than the insurance

The manual says 3500rpm for the first 300 miles, but as the drive from dealer to home was rush hour didn't get anywhere near that. I need to go on some b-roads tomorrow, driving through town the gearbox is changing gear at 1500rpm. I was doing 35mph and it was in 6th at about 1100rpm and happy at that.
Pressing the accelerator gently at that speed doesn't force it to change up, but the car still accelerates from such low revs!
The car had 24 on the clock and I think it's about 80 now, not sure forgot to look. I can see me completing first 300 miles this weekend...

Cheers, can't stop grining. Quality, the gear changes are so smooth on the car it goes from 1st to 4th and you hardly notice. Have cobb released that or are you a beta tester?
The car's quality - the ride is compliant, the sound system is decent, interior finish is great.

It's good when you can finally have some more revs...

Auto is an experience in itself though, gives you an idea of the torque you have on tap from so low down!
Yeh it's beta through cob, going to go load it on now will let you know how I get on

I could put a full cup of water on the dash and not a drop would be spilt on the gear changes.
160 on the clock and counting.
Cheers, it changes with the light too, looks much darker blue at night.

MY11 TCM update is noticeable, gear changes much smoother than previous, not as jerky but with that also feels softer. LC4 revs straight up to 4.4k with no hesitation, just need to find a road open enough to allow me to release the brake pedal

Back from a day out seeing various mates, 230 miles now so not long until flappy paddles
They can't believe the refinement on the GTR, some of them have owned R32 / R33 before and they are well impressed with that low down torque.
Great news, nice on John / Cobb. Does the LC4 bring in boost for the launch or just rev to 4.4K? The launch control on my Scoob holds 1BAR on the line.
I bought a V-Box, Alloy you could borrow when we have our meet.

Well the LC4 update makes the gear shift much smoother, but tried only twice the LC4 with VDC in R mode and the first second was brilliant then VDC killed the fun. I dont think i have it in me to try a 4k launch with VDC OFF, cant see it being better than the Cobb Level 1 LC which still spins the wheels too much with VDC OFF

Quick acceleration test... limited revs and nowhere near full throttle

The missus driving, listen for the "giggle" as she starts to accelerate
