Graham, is the base map for 1000cc injectors? If so Ryan can tweak EcuTek so fuel range and mpg reading are scaled for the larger injectors.

I've got stuck at work this morning, would have been good to come down.

Yes, base map was for the 1000cc injectors. Sly loaded the map up for me so I could drive from him to SRR for Ryan to map.

Mapped to 621bhp, but then brought down to 612bhp and torque at 610... torque was too high for standard rods! Video is being uploaded. Very happy with the results!!

The torque 'curve' Must be immense to drive with that kind of power on tap? Top work fella

Nice map, looks like very good usable power.......bit on the conservative side though?

Graham kept stock air boxes with K&N dropins AFIK. I haven't seen many cars making a lot more than 620bhp with stock turbos and intakes on pump fuel?

Yeh the numbers aren't a million miles off, but this map you just driving at 3k - 5k revs as no point going over 5 as the torque drops off the the Hp plateaus firmly if not also tails off, just a very different profile to what else i've seen....bet its consistent on the road though!

The plateau is the side effect of keeping stock airboxes IMO, there's not enough airflow to keep the torque / bhp up past that point.

Thats a view, im not sure i buy it though because their are cars running aftermarket turbos still on OEM airboxes

May be the MAFs ran out of volts and the boost had to be turned down above 5K to keep volts below 5v?

Not sure honestly, but was told that the intakes are now the limit. Car had been on the dyno for awhile on the last run, so maybe the figure would be a little higher, maybe 2-3bhp. Im happy with the way it drives and just asked that Ryan keeps it nice and safe.

I have chosen to run the drop-in K&Ns purely because I did not want to go to full intakes just yet.

The next step is to strengthen the gearbox... but more than happy with the power that it produces

Aftermarket turbos can pull more airflow and hence more power through restrictive intakes.

Easy to run speed density if the stock MAF voltage goes too high.

It is still worth revving out beyond peak (flywheel not wheel) power until the power at the drop in point after a gearchange is higher, so that gives a different engine speed at which you should change in each gear, higher in lower gears due to gear ratios being relatively widely spaced.

Here's a vid from Silverstone yesterday, mental note to self - I change gear too much and probably the cause of 125C tranny temps...

The car performed flawlessy as usual, amazing.

Like a moth to a flame, no matter how hard I try I just keep getting drawn to this thread and each time I leave wanting one more

How well did your tyres survive after Silverstone Anders?

I'll take a photo of the tyres, the last set did four track days and about 6K miles. This set might not last as long, as I'm pushing the car harder now.

Power is 620bhp and about the same torque. I'm also trying 285 tyres on the front for a 'square' setup. It makes the less prone to understeer, a little bit more tail happy.

You have clearly driven there before, you can tell its not standard, the way you are making mince meat of those other cars is very impressive. Not that i am jealous

I don't think they're too bad. Here's a picture after my first track day last year, more wear on the outside edge to be expected on a heavy car.

Well things have changed since that post! Had 3rd gear synchro failure, left me with a whining third gear so off it went to have my gearbox reconditioned, upgraded Albins 1st gear set, cir-clip upgrade and a "650r" conversion. Still on original clutches, with the COBB boost build/anti lag launch (Thanks John!!) it launches like never before! 20ft+ elevens on the Tarmac .......hopefully third gearbox will work a charm the 102mm Titan exhaust screams like a banshee on boost!
