I went to the Farm Yard Bike gathering a couple of years back. I got a hard time from all the biking fraternity who are notorious non conformist for wearing a red leather Ducati jacket. They were all in plain black leather ones. The irony of it all was missed by most of them.
... Which is neither funny or interesting.

Wear what you like, I was quite happy wearing normal comfortable clothes while owning a classic STi. Or overalls if I had been working on it!
I found it was more satisfying tweaking it up to a high degree. That tends to open your mind pretty well.

Men should wear clothing for men... e.g. the Marlborough man or Indiana Jones is a good starter for inspiration.
People that wear anything else (and especially kilts - skirts) should be avoided as they're more likely than not gheyers.
