This thread is rigt on the money.
I saw a guy the other day wearing skinny fit jeans and Ugg boots! I wondered if his entire wardrobe was in the wash so he had to wear his wifes clothes!!
I've just turned 30 annd I feel so out of date now think i'm turning into my dad, but even he has better dress sense than the yoof of today

Are they gheyers?

These 'trousers' are almost as ghey as men who wear bracelets or those that wear a ring on their thumb. Why would a man wear a ring on his thumb??
They and the fashion is/are called "Hipsters"

Hey, if you like it and it gets you some female action, not a problem.

I cant stand seeing lads ***** hanging out of their jeans, it looks utterly stupid, and like all fashions particularly so on the chubbier individual, most wear all of it at the same time, like a checklist and the effect is over the top but then I subscribe the Clarkson school of sartorial elegance...

What a bunch of old grumpy old buggers

I bet some of what you guys wore in your younger days looked equally as stupid to the generation before... that said, I'm not keen on this move to more 'womanly' styling that some blokes are going for. Each to their own I suppose.

The **** out of the trousers irritates me a bit though. Put it away.

Open necked shirt and slacks were the order of the day, and a sports jacket if it was a bit chilly! Only wore overalls when working on the motor bikes!

And why is that? Because people realise how bloody stupid they look after a week!

The mrs and I went to an anti-natal class last week and there was a young lad wearing the same sort of hat that the lead 'rapper' from N-Dubz wears...... and it was orange!
He was there with his mum for support (not sure what support the little prat could offer though! ) and when they first arrived, she went to take his hat off.
Not something he was prepared to do. Probably because he was too embarressed about his bleached blonde hair.
To make it worse, he was also wearing skanky grey tracksuit bottoms and something like -'Hi-Tech' trainers. Poor little sod didn't have a clue!

Thing is, they're no different to 80's DIY "cut off just above the knee" denim 'shorts'. Only that they are finished with a hem.

I think its better have strange fashions. Most people just wear the most ordinary clothes and blend in with all the other dullness. Thats why people like Subaru's because they stand out. People that wear dull clothes need to open their mind a little.

I hate the 'hipster' look which is those stupid massive black ear studs things making your ear lobes deliberately massive. These tossers tend to wear elvis costello glasses and have other weird piercing plus tattoos and weird t-shirts and tight jeans. ********!

/I always thought elasticated jeans was for colorless old guys?
