No, sorry, I can't see how pathetic, or daft it is.

Why would a set of statistics that allow government, both national and local, to better plan spending on such things as school places, transport, doctors, and hospital places, care for the elderly, care for those needing it, leisure facilities, etc etc etc...........WHY would that be a waste of money?

If yours is unusable, then that's a shame, and a bit childish, IMHO.

And IF it IS, you may well get an enforcemnt visit anyway: it's the law, you HAVE to do it and do it properly.

There's absolutely no way that the minor questions in that census can help national government/local councils budget for future amenities.
