My average combined consumption is anything between 13 - 17 mpg, the best my car has ever managed is 20 mpg on the motorway at a steady 60 mph.

you see its wierd.........I been running 596bhp for over a year now.........fair do's the car is stripped which helps with fuel consumption but not shed loads........I can drive from scoobyclinic going around birmingham down M50 etc.......to my house it works out not far off 200 miles........with the tank being full when leaving chesterfield I'll still get home with just uder a 1/4 left......which isn't really all that bad.........and I'm not ***** footing around either I'll be doing the best part of 90 all the way

I was getting 23 mpg before I messed with the thing but it over fuels even off boost on 1000cc injectors. So I'm going to have the map tweeked next month and seeing if running her on wide band closed loop helps.

Your P1 has a 60 litre fuel tank compared to my smaller 55 litre on my Evo IX, so you're cheating! Is your car running a wide band closed loop oxygen sensor?
