You cant really complain at £100 notes though can you? Theyre good chips, as long as they are genuine... The ebay chips i wouldnt touch.
ESL is the way to go, but at a price...
My car has been running a Scott.T PP chip for over 5 years now, and its not had any issues. For bhp per pound theyre a bargin.

I ran a Scott T chip for about a year in my old WRX.
When the HG went - not the chip's fault; it was a SMR-supplied engine and they'd done a cowboy job on fitting the... Legacy!... heads - and I had it rebuilt at Zen, there were no signs of damage to the pistons and big end shells, etc., etc. In fact all the internals were in unbelievably good condition, as both Paul and me remarked upon at the time.
Whether you fit a Scott T. one, or one of major sarcasm's, make sure you use 97+ RON fuel though (what the chips are mapped to run on).

I wouldn't buy one in this day and age to be honest as there are always bargains coming up and always somethign you can or want to do to the car, future proof yourself with a sensible daughter board and a bespoke map
God I remember when I started modding Imprezas some 12years ago, I had my first chip fitted and then live road mapped for £100 lol

Nah for £100 you can't complain provided you don't intend to change the car in anyway, shape or form in the future
