PS - Saxoboy, your comments are indeed true. It's nice to have something different. I have had thumbs up from drivers of £100k+ exotica. Drivers admire and respect the car, even if they wouldn't buy one themselves. I certainly never suffer the preconceptions or attitude that you get driving a BM or Porsche. You don't buy the VXR8 to boost your image or status, you simply buy it 'cos you like cars. Period.

I've started Holden V8 fund since I returned from Oz, hopefully it wont take too many years to get there, I saw a 2 year old 4,000 miles VXR8 for under £17K obviously fuel is more than twice the price here than it is in Oz so not so popular over here.

I'd take the VXR8 over the Beemer or Audi as much as I love the M5 and RS6, probably because of 2 years spent in Oz and an addiction to the V8 Supercars, more so I'd take the W427 Holden or an E-Series Clubsport.
