Looks like the distraction of their families arriving has worn off and we have the real England back, stunning stuff again.
Absolutely shattered from a serious lack of sleep, absolutely compelling stuff.

I had three hours sleep this afternoon.
Already to go again.
PS I think Punter got off very lightly - very cynical indeed.

I've had a massive eye infection and have to take drops every hour 24 hours per day. Not slept for longer than 50 minutes since December the 10th

Think we'll just bat this out till we're all gone, try and get as close to a lead off 500 as we can and then set about getting the buggers out.
The Aussie press are not being particularly sympathetic to Ponting

They'll be batting in a minute and the ball is swinging!

Surely England will not bat again - the ball is moving in the air - interesting indeed!

Great cover pic from the Herald Sun after Day 1, before Puntergate.

They are being pretty stubborn - some great bowling as well!

They really don't stand a chance though, if we have to bat again I'll be dumbstruck.

Now to go on and really rub their noses in it by winning the 5th test.

Don't want to get carried away but we really have been the better of the 2 sides so there really is no reason we shouldn't.

To coin an Australian phrase
Too Easy !!
Very impressed with Tremlett, I'd like to see him keep his place past this series.
I had a £10 bet a few weeks ago on England to win the series 3-1, somehow I managed to turn it into a double with Cardiff playing a league match that evening(a genuine mistake due to my lack of experience of the Hills site), needless to say Cardiff went on to lose at home that evening and I couldn't be bothered placing another bet, **** !

You had to go and spoil it KP
Pietersen said: "We would not be here today if I had not done what I did.
"I got rid of the captaincy for the good of English cricket."
Still not over it KP ?

I agree, although it could also be read that we'd never have won had he still been captain which is most likely correct.
