What's happening? we seem to have gone back in time 10 years and the Aussies are playing proper test match cricket rather than the 20/20 in a five day format that modern cricket seems to have gone down... got to say that given their performances so far this series I'm quite impressed with the Aussies temperament.

Temperament will be tested now as the first wicket has gone!

It would appear that the temperament leaves a little to be desired!

Strauss completely changed the field for the tail. Once Johnson came in he pushed the field right back hoping he would swing one to the boundaries, but he played himself in nicely with 1s and 2s. Just no pressure.

In all seriousness I'd agree, I was a little disapointed to see their final total after I went to bed at 01:30 with them at 189-8.

Too much champers for the poms. Whatever the players say about winning 3-1 it must be difficuilt to get into that mental state knowing you've already retained the Ashes.

Looking forward to a lovely long year of Cricket already

All I will say is Jimmy's averages have improved dramaically since I started playing, love the streaker pmsl when I saw that and immediately lost a wicket !

after the torrid time Cook has had (at my hands) over the past year I will gladly say he has been man of the series.

Lol at the glory hunters comment, so true, even that Trout fella is a Johnny come lately

Serious question, we are touring against PAK next winter (god knows why the cheating bastids) do you know where they intend playing these tests and odi's ? Dubai possibly, or maybe the Aussies will repay the compliment and host the series so we can spank them in the odi's again after we've turned over PAK

I see Bellys 100 went down well with the Aussie fans (and team)! After their cheating exploits earlier in the day (claiming cookies ball carried) it's all they deserved. Not great cricket but that appears to be the way it's going.

Well, they've learned from a REAL sporstman, Ricky Ponting, a nasty piece of work.

AND one of their bowlers is a chucker!

The Aussies are the worst losers and most I met wouldn't argue with that statement in fact many endorsed it wholly

573-7 with a lead of 293

It might be the last test but I'm never going to get bored of seeing figures like that

I see Collingwood has now announced his retirement from test cricket, not sure we'll miss him with the side we have at the moment.

Colly has been a great player for England over the years and under normal circumstances he'd be missed for good reason but we have some quality in reserve these days, but I thank him for his efforts, no drama's just good honest Cricket from the man and a great fielder to boot, my highlight has to be his double ton in Adelaide 4 years ago.

I'm finding it both enjoyable and hard watching this test.

Fantastic Cricket from the boys, no one has scored over 500 this many times on a tour of Oz, no one has ever done the aussies by an innings 3 times in one tour. **** the WC lets get it on with India, cant wait for that series a much sterner test on our way to being the worlds No1.

The hard part of watching this is making me miss SYD evermore, just as I thought I was getting over it LOL, to make matters worse my wifes says to me, I think I screwed up maybe we shouldn't have come back , anyone got a gun !!
