so let me get this right:
a new member joins SN to ask for advice
and all we do is 'slate' and bait him !
I tell you something some of us on here really need to grow up (you know who you are)and perhaps step away from the keyboard. Give it a rest folks, thread counts dont make you any more macho.
give the chap a break FFS, not everyone is a wizz with computers/forums.
This place never used to be like this
I hope the chap does have a job sheet stating 13hours to fit gauges, because if he dont then he is gonna look daft.

As daft as you? You have just contradicted yourself.
In one breath your having a pop at people for slating him then you turn around and say if he hasnt got proof he will look daft.

Just to get official here. The problem the site has is that such unsubstantiated claims can be seen as libel and we have to VERY careful how these things are handled.
I really should've closed and removed this thread a long time ago, but have given the OP huge amounts of freedom to come forward with some proof, which so far, he has failed to do.

The fact that this thread has been left to run with claims such as "being ripped off" still existing on the thread opens you up legally already. Standing up in court saying "well we thought we would give the OP a chance to come up with the evidence first" would not wash if the incrimminated party chose to go legal.
Even with any evidence, allowing some of the references that have been made, be made, still opens you up to a whole world of potential damages.
You may not agree, but that is the way it is unfortunately.

[quote=scooby-tc;9654461]Ive used PS a few times and EVERY single time when i pay i get a printed receipt on headed paper detailing everything,so if the OP is saying he didnt get a receipt i say it is a load of bollocks as every VAT registered company must provide a receipt whether it is paid in cash or otherwise.
This thread stinks of a wind up[/quote
cash no receipt which -vat minus any come back thats why ppl do cash no receipt most ppl do it

It is only the case if the site knows or has reason to know the allegations are libellous. In this case we don't due to lack of evidence.
However. The repeated requests for more information have been ignored for too long. The thread is being locked.
