Just for you Mattey, a nice 370Z story.

TBH, as much as I like my 370, I'd prefer to own my old mans R8. Nearly did till he changed his mind and kept it.

Stilover - of course you'd rather have an R8 but the 370Z is still a bloody nice car that many would give an important limb to own.
TBH I'd rather hear about your car(s0 rather than your Dad's. I'm sure many people's parents here have nice kit but they don't drop them into every thread.
This isn't an insult or a rant, just an observation.

Why on earth do you park a 911 where it can get dinged I don't even park my sh*te scoob near "others"
TX.
TX.
I also had 6 little car park dings taken out by his dent-man mate at the same time.

Have a thread relating to a Nissan 370Z, and I'd be in there faster than a fat girl in a cake shop.
Will be out in my 370Z this weekend.

It's a 911, not a Veyron and it gets driven and then parked. I do park where no one else is but I can't stop people parking next to me when I'm not there!
To be honest, you could only just see them and a few were possibly there when I bought it.

Anyway - they ding far less easily than either of my Scoobs ever did. In my last 911 some idiot (deliberately) opened his Focus door and bashed the car. There was a mark and I thought it was paint damage. It was paint damage...
...from the Focus. Once it was cleaned off there was no mark!

I try and park carefully but inevitably get the odd knock. Parked at hospital yesterday (2nd baby on the way) and winced as a little girl with an umbrella got into the car beside ours and tw4tted the car twice with her brolly (by mistake). No damage thank goodness.
Sounds like Porkers are made of tough stuff (as are BMWs but the paint is too thin) - handy!

British drivers are saints compared to the Spanish. Parallel parking is achieved by reversing until they hit you (every time) and then moving forward a bit. Ive had it done countless times including when Ive been been in the car.
Doors are flung open with such force that most cars end up looking like house hold radiators.

and well done mattee -- presumably the extra weight in the back doesn't effect the handling
