Just reading this as I'm back on the net, after a very short break !! I am the other member and thanks for calling in Tyron, with your new pride and joy !! Very Nice and capable car there Ty - a great choice and good luck with your plans for it

The advice on this thread has been really good and given me some nice pointers about how to tweak the performance a little more.
I just need to find / buy some AP Racing 4 pot calipers to compliment the 6 pots on the front.

Couple of comments from me
1. Bob recommended the turbo dynamics uprated actuator to me, just never got round to buying it.
2. I wouldn't spend the cash on AP 4-pots for the back, they're effin expensive for what they are (unless you can track down a cheap set). I never had an issue with the current brake set up, always braked evenly and without drama. That said, if you find it would be better to have more at the back, perhaps save some cash and put some Brembo's on the back, slightly cheaper alternative and more than enough for the rear of the car IMO.

Good point about the rear calipers perhaps I might try and get hold of a set of a rear Brembo setup and have it repainted with some AP logos. A bit of a cheat I know but a good setup nonetheless.

If the reason is cosmetic then fair enough...... but believe me, with AP 6pots at the front you simply DO NOT need to replace the OE Brembo's at the rear on the Spec C (assuming you have a good overall set-up).
If I can stamp on my brakes at 150mph down the back straight of Snetterton at the last brake marker, for the immediate 90deg left hander and the car remains stable and flat, without touching my rears OE brakes....... You should always be settling the car prior to hard braking anyway. There maybe a point at which you would want to look at brake bias, but this is not the time or the place to be worrying about that just yet.

I will probably go for Brembo STi calipers due to the big price saving over the AP Racing calipers, these should be a lot easier to find as a complete setup. Well I hope so anyway...
the 17 inch does with the Brembo's but the motorsport version? It does help

Just an update - managed to get hold of a set of gold STi Brembo rear calipers and discs for a bargain price, have used this company before and they are always good on service and price.

I plan on keeping this one for a while yet, and yes the wheels are changing colour as soon as I can get up to APS for him to have a look at the powder coating.

I am trying without luck to try and find either an S204 or RA-R spoiler or failing that a replica version, Seibon Carbon Fibre do a similar spoiler but I don't know if it would suit.

That looks like a nice spoiler Ty - the company is where I had my carbon "B" pillar covers from, they are very good - the items came quickly too - Whilst looking for these I didn't pick up any negative comments, I think they have quality stuff 4 sale
