Will it be a daily driven car? If not, you might be able to get away with not meshing it up. It does look killer like that.

Stunning mate, love the crinkle red intercooler pipes.

Personally i'd leave the intercooler without a grill, looks awesome that way.

Congrats on that, looks awesome, it did even before the RCM overhall.

The engine is a work of art, love the intercooler pipework in the red, and thats a rather MASSIVE air filter too lol.
I like the FMIC as it is, so know what you mean about the mean look, but its obviously a very pricey piece of kit so protecting it with a mesh grille maybe a good choice.

Bet your over the moon with it, sounds like you are lol.
Enjoy it and enjoy it some more!.

Chris you may be better off with a mesh to protect your IC.

I didn't have a mesh at first but as you can see I have one now. It looks like you have the same IC as me "the APS 750 Series R" (big dollar chap, as you know).

It's soooo easy to go right off the clock without even trying with an RCM motor and stones, birds, pedestrians etc will cause damage to the fins.

I've done a quick picture of your monsta with one fitted.

Off the shelf at Halfords. If you decide to fit a mesh go for the 10mm one. The 8mm will restrict airflow & the 12mm - 14mm will have less rigidity.

Two right angled brackets (20mm wide x 5mm thick) at the top & two holding the bottom section.
You will need four brackets. I tried two brackets and at 170 mph + it bends & stays like it.

IMO I think it looks the dogs. Being black it goes well with the "black" of your grill and bonnet scoop.

Looks the nuts mate! Nice one.

I would go for the mesh personally as well to protect that intercooler (££££££'s)

I understand the sense of the mesh, but think it looks better without!

very nice motor mate but either square the mesh up or bin it as a car as nice as that needs perfection

will try and make my mind up before RCM have the car back for its re map. looking sexy as hell clive

What exhaust setup did you go for Clive? Not loving the RCM back box (looks wise) was thinking of going for the team ice rear section with a silencer further down the system? It could be a little on the loud side though .

Thanks for all the kind comments guys 300miles down and she is perfect 900 to go

I have RCM's 3" system Chris. Straight centre section with one box in the rear section. Ranges between 103 - 105 Db's.
