Notice you are keeping the air con, probably a wise move - I wiped mine out, more to keep things tidy than anything else

Was the exedy clutch your choice? - im still not 100% on mine for a weekend car its fine
On the morning trip to work when the engine is cold, straight in to a traffic jam , lumpy idle due to cams , light fly wheel etc and don’t want to give the engine 2 minutes on the drive to warn up slightly because its to noisy = pain in the ar$

They key with mine was mapping, it took a few sessions as the engine loosened up a bit but eventually the idle and drive at low speeds went from bearable to not bad at all, I’m not sure what ecu you are going with but mine is on a simtek which I will try and get updated next year which might improve things a little more
The grey coating on the headers is a really good idea, the white one on mine looked great for a few months, then starts to go black around the slip joints
I’m not sure when the RCM rollers are open but if you fancy it we could try and get together and compare specs \ figures

Ps we need a full spec sheet

what turbo and power you at now?

Yep the exedy clutch was my call, the guys at RCM had the debate about going with a fast road clutch but i would prefer to go overkill than under. Time will tell if that was a smart call?

Air con is going to be a issue

Would love to have a catch up, I blame you for this creation.

Surely the pressure is what controls the fuel delivery. Not pipe length? At least not over that tiny distance anyway.

Could somebody do me a massive favour? I have asked for the air con to be removed has this been done on this block. Could somebody just highlight any air con parts on the photos, I Want to make sure it’s perfect.

Picked up my car yesterday and I am officially over the moon, it’s running a low power map just to run the new motor in but good god it seems fast. 7 months of driving slow cars has made me into nervous wreck.

Photos and a long list of appreciations will follow later, off for a drive

The guys at Roger Clark Motorsport have done a fantastic job, the fit and finish is simply perfection. 1200 miles running in period which is low boost and a rev limit of 5K, I am amazed by the power and acceleration it’s actually scary thinking how much more power I have to come.

Thanks to all the people on Scoobynet for all the help and advice, meeting some of the many happy RCM customers gave me the confidence to go ahead with a full RCM build rather than getting a new sti. (Special thanks to SkullFudge and WRX_Rich for all their time)

Engine bay looks sweet, have you not considered a Prodrive type mesh grille to protect the FMIC? I believe RCM usually fit them in black

RCM wanted to fit one, but i wanted to keep the more aggressive look. Not sure if it will stay like that yet? What do people think?

not a fan of 'visible' front mounts tho if you know what i mean, i'd spray it black and mesh it.....

Personally fella I would get the mesh fitted, I think they look good and more importantly they will protect that lovely FMIC

I would certainly pull the white sun strip off straight away but hey thats just me, YOUR CAR IS STUNNING MATE and if I had your money I would do the exact same and lots more
